Ban Shocked by Pakistan’s Flood Disaster
The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon shock and urged the international community to expedite the provision of aid after their visit to flood-hit areas in Pakistan.
Clearly shaken by what he saw Mr. Ban, in some worst-hit areas of Punjab province in Pakistan, saying he had never seen a disaster on the same scale before.
Flew over the areas affected by the floods and I saw people who live on a narrow piece of land with their property and livelihoods were washed away.
