UAW Halts Vote on Giveback Deal at Indy GM Plant
Decided United Auto Workers union not to proceed with the vote on a new contract wage-cutting for the General Motors stamping plant in Indianapolis, who faces the sale.
UAW Local 23 President of the bargaining Gregory Clark says members will not vote on the proposed contract, which will cut the base wage of 29 dollars per hour to 15.50 dollars.

Originally, the 650 workers scheduled to vote Monday on the agreement.
