An argument at a block party escalated into a gunfight early Sunday, authorities said, killing one man and wounding four, including two policemen.
Two men began arguing around 3 hours in Upper Manhattan, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said. He said that one of the men fatally the other, then fired at the five policemen who had arrived on the scene shot.
