More Rain as Hope Ebbs for Missing in China Floods
ZHOUQU, China – Heavy rain on Wednesday lashed a remote part of northwest China where weekend flooding slain at least 702 people as the hope of finding more survivors have faded and crews worked to avert outbreaks of the disease.
More than 1,000 people were still missing in the disaster, with mud,
stones and debris that many houses.
